Coastal Protection Projects

In  Ghana the coastal lines have been retreating at a fast pace causing erosion and in the long run, affecting properties located in our coastal areas and causing flooding when the level of the sea rises which is a direct effect of global warming.

As a result of this, the Government of Ghana has made it a priority to protect the coasts’ in Ghana which consists of replenishing our beaches and constructing groyne structures with stone boulder for its stabilization.

We Reliance undertake sea defense projects in consultation and partnership with the appropriate authorities like the Ministry of Works and Housing and the Coastal Development Authority.
  • Tema New Town Coastal Protection Project of 5 KM geared towards the prevention of sea erosion. Contract awarded by Ministry of Works and Housing on 17th April, 2020 for a duration of 24 months.
